Since 1987 Anne Meynier-Schweitzer has been a permanent member of the Agapé France mission (CRU in the United States and formerly Campus Pour Christ), which has the purpose of, among other things, training Christians to help in the fulfilment of the missionary order (Mt 28:18-20). Convinced that the deepening of one’s personal relationship with God is an essential element in responding to the Lord’s call, together with her husband, Louis, and Linda Oyer she has been engaged since 2010 in the Compagnons de Route association, which trains Christians in spiritual accompaniment. She and Louis also lead spiritual retreats.
Since her encounter with Christ, she has always been challenged by Jesus’ prayer for Christian unity “that the world may believe” (John 17:20-23) and she likes working to build bridges between Christians. She is thrilled by past and present opportunities for cooperation with brothers and sisters from all walks of life in churches, particularly with Femmes 2000, the Francophone Christian Forum, and now with Élan.
