Grzegorz Ryś is the Bishop of the Diocese of Łódź (Poland), a professor of humanities, a retreatant, charismatic, the author of many books on Christianity, and is known for his unconventional approach to faith. “Why do I never tell anyone for whom I’m going to vote? Because I want those who vote differently be able to participate calmly in the Eucharist I am celebrating,” he said in an interview. For it is not the church’s attitude toward politics or artificial concepts that determines the church’s way of thinking, acting, and teaching.
