hautecombe international festival
festival 1 | 21.07-26.07.25
festival 2 | 04.08-09.08.25
is a 5-day Christian festival set in a heavenly location.
For the past 10 years, the proven formula has been a customizable festival where each day you can choose from about twenty activities: sports, conferences, spiritual times, sharing, relaxation, etc.
The week is also punctuated by numerous highlights, evenings, music, worship, and celebrations.
Welcome To Paradise is open to believers as well as those who are distant from faith.
The festival’s goal is to allow everyone to recharge, make authentic connections, and live a meaningful life.

We want to take care of those
who will take care of the world
The Youth Jubilee will take place in Rome from July 28 to August 3, 2025. In collaboration with the MAGIS Network and the entire Ignatian family, we offer you to experience this Jubilee in two parts: first the Welcome to Paradise Festival from July 21 to 27 at Hautecombe Abbey, and then in Rome.
A special Young Professionals pack will also be offered.
The festival would be nothing without the volunteers!
Each summer, hundreds of young people join the miracle workers who contribute through their service to the development of the festival !
Thank you for offering your talents in the service of the Kingdom. It was a unique opportunity to discover paradise from the inside and experience Welcome to Paradise like never before !
Welcome To Paradise is an event open to all young people between 18 and 30 years old from Europe. Young adult ministry leaders are also welcome.
Yes ! Chemin Neuf Jeunes has partnered with the Ignatian MAGIS network to offer an unforgettable experience for the Youth Jubilee in 2025.
The festival takes place in France at Hautecombe Abbey in Savoie, near Chambéry and Aix-les-Bains.
During Welcome To Paradise, accommodation is in tents, camping at Hautecombe Abbey. Access to the campsite with permanent showers and toilets is included in the registration. You can rent a tent on-site for €10 per week (reservation required) or bring your own tent.
Meals are included in the registration (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). In the afternoon and evening, the Kawaco offers some extras (drinks and food) at the participants’ expense.
The ticket covers participation in the entire session and three daily meals for the 5 days at Hautecombe. Access to the campsite is also included in the basic ticket.
Money should not be an obstacle to your participation; contact us in case of difficulties.
All young adults who wish can volunteer for the Welcome To Paradise festivals.
However, the service can sometimes be demanding and prevent participation in certain festival events. If you have never attended, we recommend coming as a festival-goer.
For volunteers, the participation fee for the first week is €170. Participation is free for the following weeks.
Families are very important to us.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate them at the festival site.
All young people aged 18 to 30 are welcome. The diversity of our cultures, churches, and sensitivities is a strength.
You can come by car directly to the site, by bike, carpooling, hitchhiking, or by train to Culoz station (a shuttle service is organized from this station). You can book it when registering.
The opening hours of the reception on-site are from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM on Mondays for festival participants.
For volunteers, the reception will take place on-site on Saturdays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, except for Saturday, July 26, when the hours will be 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, due to the ordinations taking place in the afternoon.
