is a Christian festival in a paradise-like setting.
A recipe proven over more than 30 years: a festival à la carte where every day you choose from about twenty options: prayer, praise, sports, talks, spiritual times, sharing, relaxation, workshops and more.
It’s also lots of highlights, evenings, music, praise and celebration throughout the week.
Welcome to Paradise is for believers as well as for those further from faith. Everyone is welcome!
In 2027, two events: all summer long at Hautecombe, and in South Korea with WTP Asia, just before World Youth Day in Seoul.

Welcome to Paradise is going to Asia! For World Youth Day in Seoul, the Chemin Neuf Community and the Emmanuel Community are joining forces for an international Forum-Festival in South Korea, just before meeting the Pope.
Six days to pray, get trained and live fraternity with young people from all over the world. Then on to Seoul for WYD, transfers included.
For 18-35 year olds. Places are limited: pre-registration is open until the end of March 2027.

The theme of summer 2026
HOLINESS, NO LESS: the boldness to respond to God’s call for every Christian. “Do not be afraid to be saints! Holiness will not make you less human, for it is the meeting of your weakness with the strength of grace.” — Gaudete et Exsultate, n. 34
HOLINESS: God alone is Holy! But God invites everyone to enter into a personal relationship with Him. Letting yourself be transformed by His love: that is the holiness we long for!
NO LESS: radically refusing to live your life halfway or by proxy. Refusing to be a photocopy, to become nothing less than the image of Jesus!
HOLINESS: it is not a perfection contest, it is a radical experience of Mercy. Holiness begins the day you stop trying to hide your flaws and let God love you through them.

During your stay, you sleep in a tent in the beautiful setting of the Hautecombe Abbey campsite.
Good news! Your registration includes access to this campsite, with permanent showers and toilets.
You have two options for your tent:
- Bring your own, it’s free!
- Prefer to travel light? You can rent one on site (option to book when you register).
Small but important point: the campsite is organised in single-sex areas.
Meals are included in the registration (breakfast, lunch and dinner). In the afternoon and evening, the Kawaco offers a few extras (drinks and food), paid by participants.
The 2027 prices will be published when registration opens. As every year, they will be progressive: the earlier you register, the less you pay.
To give you an idea, in 2026 the festival cost from €195 to €240 depending on the registration date.
Money should never stop you from coming: contact us if you have any difficulty.
The ticket covers participation in the whole session and 3 meals a day at Hautecombe. Access to the campsite is also included in the basic ticket.

All young adults (18-35) who wish to can volunteer during summer 2027 at Hautecombe.
Important: volunteering can be demanding and may keep you from some festival times. If you have never taken part before, we suggest you first come as a festival-goer or for Ora et Labora to discover the experience.
The 2027 volunteer options and prices will be published when registration opens. Money should never be an obstacle: if you have financial difficulties, contact us to talk about it.
Families are very important to us. Unfortunately, we are not able to welcome them at the festival site.
All young people aged 18 to 30 are welcome at the festival. The diversity of our cultures, churches and sensitivities is a strength. The festival welcomes believers as well as those who are far from faith.
In addition to the festival, the community offers a special week for young professionals, for 23-35 year olds.
In 2026, it brought together 71 young professionals from 18 to 22 July. The 2027 dates and price will be announced soon.

The ORA & LABORA weeks are dedicated to community life, prayer and manual work. They are open to young people aged 18 to 35.
You can take part in one, two, three weeks or more depending on your availability. The longer you stay, the better the weekly price.
The 2027 dates will be announced soon.
The Spiritual Exercises retreats according to Saint Ignatius are retreats in silence, with daily spiritual accompaniment. They are open to young people aged 18 to 30 and last 6 days.

You have several ways to reach this paradise on the shores of Lake Bourget!
- By car or bike: free parking on site, at the Abbey.
- Carpooling: a carpooling link will be shared before the summer.
- By train: you can come to Culoz station.
Shuttles (booking required): shuttles run between Culoz station and Hautecombe Abbey at the start and end of each programme. You book them when you register. The 2027 times will be given when registration opens.
The 2027 arrival times will be sent with your registration confirmation.
For your information, in 2026 festival-goers were welcomed on Sunday from 2:30 pm to 7 pm, and volunteers on Saturday from 4 pm to 7 pm.
The 2027 cancellation terms will be given when registration opens.
For your information, in 2026: €20 cancellation fee, €50 after 31 May, and full price charged from the start of the festival. Cancellation is done online via “Manage my order” in the confirmation email. Shuttles and accommodation are non-refundable.
